The main difference was the outcomes and the leaders of each revolution. In the February revolution all the Russians got together and overthrew Tsar. And this revolution was all about the battle of the city of Petrograd, which was renamed several times. The October revolution was led by Lenin and the Bolsheviks. the goal was to create a communist government and spread communism throughout the world. After Lenins death there was a power struggle between Trotsky and Stalin, and Stalin won. Stalin won because he was in charge of propaganda and he also had many powerful followers who were loyal to him. He was a good leader, but he made outrageous Quotas for manufacturing companies. The movie Enemy at the Gates is about a soldier Vasili Zaytsev who is a sniper for the red army. His marksman skills were taught to him at a young age by his grandfather. He is sent on many missions and the amount of people he has killed has gained him much notoriety, and respect among different groups of people. Erwin Konig is deployed to take out Vasili and destroy soviet morale. A young boy named Sasha pretends to help out the germans, but really he's relaying all the information back to the Russians. Vasili is thought to have been killed later on, but he then comes back to everyones surprise and shoots Konig right in the head.
