Hitler And The Rise Of Nazism
In 1920 Hitler joined the German Workers Party(anti Weimar Party) and soon became its leader and changed its name to the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazi). This Party created the Brownshirts S.A led by Ernst Rohm, a paramilitary force designed after Mussolini's Blackshirts. in 1928 the Nazi's are re-elected to the Reichstag. The Brownshirts were Hitlers henchman used through the late 20's and 30's to unmercifully harass opposition parties. Later, the enabling act gave Hitler ultimate power and let him make decisions without the help of the Reichstag. The president allowed Hitler to do this.
