Collectivization
Collectivization meant that all peasants were to work on one farm. smaller farms called kolkhoz were all pooled together to make bigger land for more crop output. By 1932 62% of all peasants collectivized, kulaks were wealthier peasants who owned farms. they were seen as a threat and were killed or sent to gulags.
